Ancient Egyptian mummy net with amulet

Part of an ancient Egyptian beaded net made from faience pieces threaded on cotton. This net also features an amulet of a scarab beetle and the figures of the gods Horus and Anubis. Beaded nets containing amulets were sometimes placed over mummies. Probably from the XVIII Dynasty in the New Kingdom (1550- 1069 BCE).
